Oh how I'd love to see The 1975 again... well, you can On Tuesday, the 17th of March 2020, British band The 1975 will perform in the Ziggo Dome for the first time! Ticket sales start on Friday the 20th of September at 10AM via Eventim.
This show will be part of the European tour with which the band from Manchester will present their new album Notes on a Conditional Form. It will be their biggest indoor concert in the Netherlands as of yet! It isn’t the first time that The 1975 will be performing in the Netherlands. Last six years, the band gave seven concerts in the Netherlands, five of which were all located in Amsterdam. Right now, the band has outgrown venues and they have grand plans for their show in the Ziggo Dome.
The 1975 debuted in 2013 with songs like ‘Sex’ and ‘Chocolate’. The popular music is hard to label. Synthpop, dancerock, indiepop and more, they bring it all to the table. These Brits owe a part of their popularity to their amazing live performances. Their style can be described as a mix of soft emo songs and danceable hits. During their shows, they're bound to use lots of lights, colours and abstract shapes. This shows strongly in their rectangular logo. Bij combining visuals with eighties-esque anthems, the band always manages to create stunning shows.
