Thinking of a Place where we’re seeing The War On Drugs live again! And that is possible on the 22nd of April 2022 at the Ziggo Dome! TIcketsales will start Friday the 23rd of July at 10AM via Ticketmaster.
Today the band also announced the release of their first studio album in four years, "I Don't Live Here Anymore", which will be released on the 29th of October. The announcement of the tour and new album 'I Don't Live Here Anymore' is accompanied with the release of the lead single and video for 'Living Proof'. A preview of the long-awaited follow-up to the worldwide acclaimed album 'A Deeper Understanding' released in 2017, for which the band received a Grammy for Best Rock Album.
The War On Drugs broke through in 2014 with 'Lost in the Dream'. In the Netherlands alone, this third album by the band surrounding Adam Granduciel sold over 25,000 copies. Radio hits such as 'Red Eyes', 'Under The Pressure' and 'An Ocean In Between The Waves' symbolize the subtle indie rock with influences of americana, new wave and ambient. The War On Drugs, besides Granduciel consisting of Dave Hartley, Robbie Bennett, Charlie Hall, Jon Natchez and Anthony LaMarca, was last seen in our country in 2018 during a concert in a sold-out Ziggo Dome in December.
