If you ever come back, there'll be a smile on my face. Well, start smiling already! The Script will return to the Ziggo Dome on the 20th and 21st of March with their Sunsets & Full Moons tour! Ticket sales start on the 18th of October at 10.30 AM via Ticketmaster.
The tour follows the release of the brand new album, carrying the same name; Sunsets & Full Moons. This feels like a follow-up of their debut album in more ways than one. Both albums came forth from emotionally turbulent times. Around the time of the release in 2008, The Script’s singer Danny O’Donoghue lost his father. Ten years later, while working on the upcoming album, he lost his mother too. These tragic events have left their stamp on The Script’s music, making their music emotionally profound.
As O’Donoghue said about the new album: “I think it’s the most poignant record we’ve ever made. Our music was always about being together with the audience, and writing about your own feelings, and sharing them”.
With over 6 billion streams, single sales of 30 million pieces, besides 10.8 million albums, more than 12 million monthly Spotify listeners and 1.8 million sold live tickets, The Script has grown to be the arena-filling band they are today. Their new tour in February and March 2020, has no less than 21 dates in the UK and Europe. They will finish their tour with two shows at the Ziggo Dome on March the 20th and 21st.
Will you be there? Let us know!
