On the 3rd of October 2021 the British band Elbow will perform at the Ziggo Dome! Please note that this is the replacement date for the concert that would take place on the 29th of October 2020 (previously postponed from the 24th of March & the 21st of June 2020). Already purchased tickets remain valid for this new date.
This performance will be dedicated to the eighth album Giants of All Sizes. It is the biggest show the band has given so far in the Netherlands. With Giants of All Sizes, Elbow takes a new direction musically and lyrically: “We wanted it to sound sonically different from our previous albums. Whereas we would often look to find a combination of our influences in how tracks sounded, even swapping instruments so a keyboard played a guitar line, this time we decided not to do that, ”explains keyboardist and producer Craig Potter. “From that first session in Clouds Hill studios in Hamburg we elected not to take the usual road, allowing tracks to be themselves, not taking the edges off stuff.”
Bear in mind that it is forbidden to bring a bag with you to this show. Only handbags that aren't bigger than the size of an A4-paper (8.27 x 11.69 inches) and no thicker than 10 cm (3.9 inches) are allowed inside. If you do bring a bag bigger than this, you will not be allowed to enter the venue. The organizer of this event will do its best to reduce queues as much as possible.
