These Company Rules apply to all persons present in the Ziggo Dome.
General rules
Always follow the directions given by authorised staff designated by the management of the Ziggo Dome. In unforeseen circumstances not provided for by these company rules, the management or the authorised staff will decide.
Admission to the Ziggo Dome
Admission to the Ziggo Dome is exclusively granted upon presentation of a valid admission ticket or any other authorisation issued by the Ziggo Dome. Authorisation can only be issued by presenting valid identification papers. Additional personal information can also be requested, such as place of birth, date of birth and residence.
Authorisation issued by or on behalf of the Ziggo Dome is non-transferable and needs to be worn in a visible place at all times. Persons authorised by the Ziggo Dome management can request all persons present to show a valid admission ticket or another authorisation issued by or on behalf of the Ziggo Dome.
It is prohibited to enter or linger around any area other than that area of the Ziggo Dome for which authorisation was granted.
Visitors leaving the Ziggo Dome during an event will not be allowed access to the Ziggo Dome again during that same event.
All persons present in the Ziggo Dome need to be able to present valid identification.
The Ziggo Dome applies a recommended minimum age of 16 years for unaccompanied minors attending events. Visitors under the age of 18 years will not be admitted to late-night events.
Staff authorised by the Ziggo Dome management have the right to check all persons requesting admission to or those already present in the Ziggo Dome, and to seize any illicit items. This safety check includes a body search, as indicated under Dutch private law (“privaatrechtelijke oppervlakkige veiligheidsfouillering” or POV: private superficial security search). This body search is carried out at the entrance or exit of the Ziggo Dome or inside the venue if there is a reason to do so. A full safety search entails: checking bags, suitcases, boxes or any other carried items. A superficial security search is performed on clothing, pockets and, possibly, shoes. If a person refuses to participate in said security search, this person will not by admitted to or removed from the premises.
The following items cannot be brought into Ziggo Dome: a. food and drink; b. hazardous objects, such as weapons, knives, glass objects and metal objects, such as cans, tins or canisters; c. (soft and/or hard) drugs or alcohol; d. poisonous and combustible materials or light explosives and/or fireworks; e. skates, bicycles, kick scooters, skateboards et cetera; f. pets or any other animals; g. professional photo and/or video and/or audio recording equipment; h. flags and flagpoles; i. drones and similar flying objects; j. selfie sticks; and k. any other items which, to the exclusive judgement of the management of the Ziggo Dome and the persons designated by the management of the Ziggo Dome, could pose a safety and/or health hazard and danger to the public order. Additionally, the organiser of any event in Ziggo Dome is authorised to take additional safety measures for any event, such as refusing the entrance of large bags and/or backpacks. For this reason, visitors need to inform themselves beforehand if such additional rules are applicable.
The management of the Ziggo Dome exclusively has the right to refuse admittance to Ziggo Dome to any person, without this person having the right to compensation.
Inside Ziggo Dome
Visitors under the age of 18 are prohibited from buying and/or consuming alcohol in and around the Ziggo Dome. Furthermore, visitors aged 18 and older are prohibited from providing alcohol to visitors under the age of 18. Visitors under the age of 18 are prohibited from buying tobacco. Persons designated by the management of the Ziggo Dome monitor compliance with the above, whereby visitors can be requested to present proof of identification or an (18+) wristband issued by the Ziggo Dome. Upon violation of the aforementioned prohibition, the visitor may be denied access to the Ziggo Dome.
Smoking is prohibited in the Ziggo Dome, other than in those areas specified as Designated Smoking Areas.
The possession and use of and trade in (soft and/or hard) drugs is strictly prohibited.
It is prohibited to enter the Ziggo Dome or be present in the Ziggo Dome while under the influence of alcohol.
It is not allowed to block gangways, (emergency) exits or fire extinguishers or hydrants.
It is prohibited to cause damage to goods or harm persons or act in such a way that such damage or harm is imminent. Standing on seats, climbing on structures or unto the stage, stage diving and crowdsurfing, throwing objects, including liquids, is particularly prohibited. In addition, it is prohibited to act in such a manner (including, but not limited to, wearing certain clothes such as those affiliated with certain sports clubs or expressing certain views), which, to the exclusive judgement of the management (may) disturb the peace.
Taking photographs and making video or audio recordings are only allowed if the organiser of the event has given its consent thereto. Taking photographs and making video or audio recordings in the areas of the Ziggo Dome that are not accessible to the general public is not allowed.
Offering for sale and/or otherwise distributing or having distributed merchandise such as beverages, food, T-shirts, posters and such, and the distribution of brochures, flyers, and other advertising in the Ziggo Dome and its direct vicinity is only permitted after prior written consent of the management of the Ziggo Dome.
The Ziggo Dome and the organiser of an event (subject to the approval of Ziggo Dome) have the right to make screen recordings of the visitors of an event. Ziggo Dome has the right to display these recordings on the LED screens on the outside of, and on the screens inside the Ziggo Dome. Moreover, the Ziggo Dome has the right to use these recordings for its own purposes and make these recordings available for use by its partners, including Ziggo. The organiser of an event has the right (subject to the approval of the Ziggo Dome) to use any recordings of its event at its own discretion and free of charge and to exploit these in any which way.
Any waste, including that of consumed drinks and food, must be deposited in the appropriate containers.
Anyone present in the Ziggo Dome can be subjected to sound levels surpassing 80 dBA. Wearing hearing protection is one’s own responsibility.
The management of the Ziggo Dome does advice all visitors to use hearing protection in order to prevent loss of hearing.
Calamities
Anyone present in the Ziggo Dome must familiarize oneself with the escape routes to be used in case of a calamity. The use of elevators in case of a calamity is strictly prohibited.
The management of the Ziggo Dome has the right to have the Ziggo Dome evacuated if, in its opinion, the situation requires it.
Security
The surveillance systems of the Ziggo Dome record not only image and sound but also the presence of persons during 24 hours per day. The Ziggo Dome management can let justice authorities observe the recordings made by these systems.
No compensation
Visitors enter the Ziggo Dome at their own risk. The Ziggo Dome will not be liable for any damage a visitor suffers or may suffer as a consequence of the decision to cancel an event.
Denial of access, removal and fine
The persons designated by the management of the Ziggo Dome are at all times authorised to deny access to or remove from the Ziggo Dome those persons who do not abide by these company rules, or in any way act in a disruptive or annoying manner. Moreover, these persons will owe an immediately payable fine to the Ziggo Dome of €500 without prejudice to the right of the Ziggo Dome to compensation. In addition, an access injunction may be imposed on these persons.
The discovery of any criminal offences will, at all times, be reported to the police. In such an event, the persons designated by the management of the Ziggo Dome are authorised to make an arrest and hand over the person(s) to the police.
Personal data
The Ziggo Dome processes any personal data including camera images of its visitors in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act.
Changes
The Ziggo Dome reserves the right to amend these company rules. Visitors are hereby encouraged to regularly review the company rules of the Ziggo Dome for any changes.
